![]() So, does anyone know what possible cause for these problems with Resolve that I have experienced on 3 different hardware? Is it just because my hardware is not powerful enough to run Resolve more stable? And would upgrading to the paid studio version increase stability? There is some hardware acceleration feature difference between the studio and free versions, but I'm not sure if that will help with my problems.Įdit: It seems like the conclusion from the comments is that my hardware (especially the GPU) is just not powerful enough to run resolve in a stable way. But I feel like most of the time Premiere was more stable and has less problems compared to Resolve. The second is a laptop with an i5 5th gen, an Nvidia 840m and 12 gb of ramĪnd the last (the one i mainly use right now) is a laptop with an i5 8th gen, a GTX 1050 and 16gb of ramĪnd on all of those i have experienced problems that made it difficult for me to completely switch to resolve. The first one is a PC with an i3 7th gen, a GTX 1050 and 8gb of ram ![]() I have tried Resolve on 3 different devices (all running Windows 10) There is also probably more that didn't immediately come to mind. And I'm thinking of buying the studio version to remove the limitations.īut the problem is that every time I use Resolve, even from a really long time ago before I switched from Premiere, I always had problems with a lot of things like crashing, glitches in rendered video, clips going offline for no reason and sometimes it wont even launch. ![]() ![]() I am currently using the free version of Resolve, I really like it and I'm starting to get used to it after switching from Adobe Premiere pro. ![]()
